Veneers are not a one-size-fits-all type of restorations. They will have to be custom-fabricated according to the requirement of the patient. When you visit us for the consultation, our dentist will thoroughly diagnose your condition and determine your candidacy for the restoration. The tooth will be cleaned and prepared by gently buffing or grinding it. This is done to remove the outer enamel and make space for placing the veneer.
A highly precise digital mold of the tooth will be taken and shared with a dental laboratory, where your veneer will be fabricated. It may take a few days to fabricate the veneer, during which the dentist may suggest the use of a temporary veneer. During the next visit, the dentist will bond the veneer to the tooth using dental adhesives. A curing light is used to harden it, and polished to enhance its appearance.
